In Nash’s framework (and Satoshi's Bitcoin), the 'asymptotic' and 'introspective' are two sides of the same coin: genesis validation acts as an ORDDEF gate — the rigid ground-level filter enabling the extending hierarchy which is consistent at each step.
Nash’s 1998 convention lets a higher-level function take the actual formula instead of its Gödel index. Haber–Stornetta 1997 (Bitcoin [5]) does the same for data: the bit-string is named by its place in a growing hash DAG, not by a fragile location.
