People that are into marketing Litecoin need to study Edward Bernays... I know there are groups of volunteers that market Litecoin, I'm simply asking you to consider the following: Before Edward Bernays if you went to buy a vehicle the marketing sales pitch would be "the drivetrain is rated for X number of miles, you get Y MPG and it has Z horsepower. It's a very dependable vehicle." The big revolution in advertising is when people realized this doesn't work nearly as well as status/prestige style marketing. The people marketing Bitcoin realize this. People buy for identity, status, belonging, aspiration, fear, prestige, symbolism. So instead of "2.5-minute blocks, low fees, 84 million cap, MWEB, merged mining, high uptime", Edward Bernays would have said "Litecoin is money for people who don’t ask permission" and feature attractive people looking nonchalant.
