Weird IBKR warning email about Paxos I just got this email from IBKR. Dear Client, Our records show that you have used your account primarily to trade crypto assets through Paxos. IBKR offers trading in crypto assets through Paxos as a convenience to clients who primarily trade securities or commodities. Please be sure to use your IBKR account primarily for investing in securities or commodities going forward. The thing is I don't trade crypto actively at all in this account. I just have a relatively modest BTC position that has sat there for years. The rest is cash, stock and options which has been my primary trades. IBKR does not even give me guidance on how my trading violates their policies. Without any guidance, I would have to just liquidate or transfer the BTC and just not use IBKR for crypto.
