Hi everyone, I am writing this to share my ongoing frustrating experience with Bybit EU support and to warn the community about their lack of willingness to assist with standard technical recoveries, even when high-value amounts are involved. The Issue: I accidentally deposited 2,000 USDT to my Bybit wallet address using the Arbitrum network, but it went to the contract/address structure meant for USDC (cross-token EVM deposit). The Technical Reality: Because the wallet address is fully owned by Bybit on the Arbitrum network, they hold the private keys required to sign an outbound transaction. There is zero risk of fund loss, and industry leaders like Binance or OKX routinely resolve these identical cross-token EVM deposits for a standard administrative fee.
