The BTC I earned (and lost) as a kid still haunts me to this day When I was a kid, I wanted to buy in-game currency for a game I played, so I downloaded Bitcoin-Qt at an internet café, I tried mining but didn't understand a thing, so I turned to those survey/offer sites that paid 0.25 BTC per completed survey. I installed a few programs and Firefox extensions, and after a few hours managed to accumulate 1.75 BTC, but I got bored because the amount was nowhere near what I needed, and I ended up forgetting all about it. A few years later, BTC started skyrocketing in value, which devastated me. I decided never to chase after BTC again, yet that childhood memory kept popping into my mind every now and then. That’s why I decided to give it another shot. I’m not overly confident, knowing I missed my big chance, but I know that I won't be able to rest until I give it a shot.
