would you trade a meme coin if part of the fees went to charity? thinking out loud after a bad week in the trenches. what bothers me is not losing the money, that was the deal and i knew it. it's that when i lose money here, it doesn't go anywhere interesting. it goes to a dev who was already selling and to two snipers who were faster than me. the circle is closed, nothing ever leaves it. so if a meaningful part of the trading fees, not the market cap, not a pledge, the actual fees, was directed to something real, would that change whether you traded it? i keep going back and forth. the case for yes. the fees are getting paid regardless, i am already handing them over. if the same money which currently funds someone's exit instead goes somewhere that produces a receipt, my downside is identical and something useful happened along the way. it costs me nothing to prefer that version.
