Retired from my govt job with pension and need advice. I retired from my govt job in July and am collecting about 11k a month before taxes from my pension. I have 120k in savings, 230k in a taxable investment account, 30k in a Roth ira, 290k in crypto, 690k in a 457b and 50k in a govt annuity account. I'm 45 years old, my monthly expenses are about 5k a month and my low interest mortgage will be paid off in about 5 years which would reduce my monthly expenses by about 2200. My healthcare is covered for life from my job. I know that I never have to work again, but I am also nervous about taxes and RMDs in the future. I'd like to start unwinding my high risk crypto holdings now and also thinking about doing Roth conversions on my 457b account into my Roth IRA. I'd also like to start budgeting for more travel and fun expenses without screwing myself for the future. I just don't know what my order of operations should be.
