One thing I wish I knew when I first got into Bitcoin I wanted to drop this in here since markets are picking up and a lot of new crypto users will likely be entering the space over the next year! You don’t need to understand everything at once. There’s a tendency to feel like you need to immediately understand mining, nodes, UTXOs, self-custody, wallets, fees, halvings, Lightning, etc. before you’re “ready” to own Bitcoin or crypto in general. You don’t, and often times it can be more harmful than helpful. Start with the basics: understand what Bitcoin is, why there’s a fixed supply, how to buy a small amount, and how to keep it safe. Then learn the rest as you actually run into it.
