The new rule is that if an exchange verifies you remotely using something other than an official EU digital ID, it now has to justify and document why. Doesn't change anything for you right now, but it's a pretty clear sign of where this is heading. Has anyone noticed their exchange changing how onboarding works yet? And would you actually prefer verifying with a government digital ID over the usual document upload?
