What Is Happening With Hardware Wallets? What is happening with hardware wallets lately? This is honestly getting scary and it doesn’t feel normal anymore. Coldcard had a security incident, Trezor has had major security issues and leaks, and now we’re hearing about SafePal as well all within a relatively short period of time. At this point, where are we supposed to keep our Bitcoin safely? Hardware wallets were supposed to be the safest option for self-custody, but it feels like every major brand eventually has some kind of vulnerability, leak, or security incident. It’s honestly exhausting. What are we supposed to do to protect our funds when even the devices designed for security keep having problems?
