New Regulations and Holding Funds Currently finding out the hard way the new BS money laundering regulations on Coinbase. I transferred crypto into my Coinbase account only to receive a message saying I need to verify where it came from to access the funds. Because it wasn’t sent from one of their “known” exchanges apparently it takes a month for them to review the transfer and its source. Spent 3 hrs with customer support grilling them over this and providing all the details of the other exchange but was still left with “our internal team will get back to you in 48 hrs with instructions on what to do next.”
