Serious question - need advice. My FIL has put everything he owns in XRP and talks for hours a day about how he is going to be a billionaire soon. He has completely lost any sense of reality and won't listen to any other side, but that XRP is going to the moon. All he does all day long is watch YouTube videos and then talk my ear off for hours and hours about how rich he will be. (it's starting to get f'ing annoying...) I started digging into the coin a bit and it seems that Ripple can just inject as many coins in circulation as they want to and they have doubled the coins in the past 2 years. If that is the case, isn't Ripple just using coins to fund their own business?
