55yo, retiring in ~2 years: best way to invest the non-stock portion? I’m 55 and plan to retire in a couple of years. Portfolio is about 6M. * 70% stocks * 18% cash/MM/T-bills * 7% bond funds * 4% gold * 1% crypto Most stocks are broad-market index funds. My main question is how to structure the **non-stock portion** as I enter retirement. I’d like to avoid a repeat of 2022, when both stocks and bond funds dropped sharply. My 401(k) has only two low-cost bond options: **VBILX** (intermediate) and **VBIRX** (short term). I currently have about $205K in each.
