Does moving some BTC into ETH actually count as diversification? BTC is about 60% of my crypto portfolio, while ETH is only about 15%. I didn’t intentionally choose that split. It just ended up that way over time, but lately I was wondering if having most of my crypto exposure in BTC is too concentrated with higher risks. I thought about moving some of BTC into ETH, like don’t put all your eggs in one basket. But ETH still seems to follow BTC most of the time so I’m not sure how much risk I’d reduce by going from BTC-heavy to a more balanced BTC/ETH split. I might just be exchanging some BTC-specific risk for ETH-specific risk.
