What actually makes something a “crypto moonshot” instead of just a bad high-risk investment? Everyone wants to find that one crypto moonshot early. But “moonshot” gets used for almost everything now, like low caps, new narratives, anything that pumps hard. I noticed MEXC renamed KIMIUSDT to MOONSHOTUSDT today, which was probably the most literal use of the term I’ve seen in a while. It also got me thinking: if the asset is already highly speculative, do things like leverage, fees and position sizing matter more than people admit? A 20x position on a “moonshot” doesn’t necessarily make it a better bet. It might just make it easier to get wiped out.
