having multiple trading accounts sounded like a good idea until i actually had to manage them not sure if anyone else has this problem but having accounts in different places gets annoying way faster than i expected lol. at first it was fine. open one account, check positions, open the other one, check that, compare everything manually. then you start thinking ok. why am i doing this every single time? i've been looking into ways to pull account/position data into one place and apparently you can do quite a lot with a MetaTrader API now. account info, open positions, history, even sending orders from your own software if you want to go that far. which got me thinking whether building one simple dashboard for everything would actually make sense. i don't really want some giant automated trading system. honestly i'd be happy just opening one screen and seeing what is happening across all the accounts without jumping between terminals. has anyone here done something like this for themselves? did having everything in one place actually make managing your trades easier or did you just end up creating another dashboard you have to check? lol a
