How to turn a +2.5R trade into +1R: just HOLD Does anyone here overhold trades (or struggle to close traders with a good reason). Had a trade this week that exposed a pretty obvious hole in my trading system: I didn’t really have a rule for exiting a trade (other than hitting full TP, which isn't too often) I caught a BTC breakout with a good entry. Actually amazing entry. I was pretty much onside from the start of the trade, don't think I was ever offside. Price kept moving down and I was sitting cushy in my short. I did have a target in mind for 3.5R which I was, for some reason so confident of because it was a good liquidity point.
