Bip110 chain split ? I’m trying to get my head around Bip110 mandatory signalling starting on Saturday and whether there will be a chain split as Bip110 nodes tighten consensus rules. Whilst I can’t be sure, looks like there’s like 2% miner signalling and 20% nodes signalling for bip110. If we assume that this remains unchanged (large assumption), that would imply that legacy chain retains most proof of work and mines blocks much more frequently. However If majority hashrate moves to bip110 rules then legacy blocks are orphaned post fork right? How does all this play out? What happens to BTC on large exchanges / custodians / which chain gets the BTC ticker? / can people sell BTC Bip110 and buy BTC instead and vice versa?
