Were they acting in good faith? Am i the only one who thinks that perhaps (i repeat, perhaps) the whole coldcard shitstorm happened in good faith? Could it have been "just" a huge, disastrous oversight caused by poor software development practices? I’m not here to excuse anyone. What they did is terrible. But as i read their documentation and the way they try to explain how to stay safe in the crypto world, i sense a genuine passion that clashes with the narrative that it was all an inside job.
