Cold card vs Ledger I don’t use a Coldcard, thankfully, but I do use a Ledger. I use Sparrow Wallet with my Ledger hardware wallet instead of Ledger Live. My private keys remain on the Ledger, and I verify and sign every transaction directly on the device. How secure is this setup in practice? I’ve always considered it extremely secure, but I understand that Ledger’s firmware is not fully open source, so users and independent researchers cannot fully audit all of its code. What are the actual risks of using a hardware wallet today, particularly in the age of AI?
