If you want the most secure Bitcoin wallet for cold storage, the Bitcoin Core Wallet is the ONLY one that is NOT a 3rd party wallet. All 3rd party wallets introduce risk despite the slick marketing telling you how secure they are. Sure, they are very secure, but not as secure as Bitcoin’s own Core Wallet. The Bitcoin Core is the full node software that validates transactions and maintains the blockchain ledger, serving as the primary reference implementation of the Bitcoin network protocol. If the Bitcoin Core Wallet gets hacked, Bitcoin has been hacked so you better believe A LOT of eyes are on its open source code. Apparently a lot more eyes than the Cold Wallet open source code.
