Why Hardware Wallets? Anyone who buys these hardware wallets is a moron. Almost fancy gadgets introducing a layer of 3rd party trust. Get 2x USB sticks instead and encrypt them with LUKS or VeraCrypt. Use a strong password you will remember. Go offline. Generate a key pair offline by any means; if in a wallet, delete the wallet. Create a text file on both USBs and save your keys. Send monies. If you're extra paranoid, encrypt the text file too, and do the above on a fresh OS or VM. Rocket science, huh?
