Coldcard lack of "truly randomness" wasn't the issue, it was almost no randomness. The solution isn't that users need to roll dice 100 times to get manual truly random. Let's look at the factors used by the OS in the default random function (designs for hash tables, not crypto). - **chip ID** Known set, 0 entropy. - **Real time clock** turned off on some versions, so value is all zeros. 0 entropy.
