Reconsidering the BitKey model With coldcard making everyone re-evaluate their set ups what are your thoughts on the BitKey multisig semi hosted model? I dismissed it when I saw coupling to their app and servers - but having people contact me asking what they should do about their cold cards is stressful. I have recommended coldcard/seedsigner type devices, as the gold standard, but when something comes up that forces quick movement of funds - many hodlrs are days away from being able to get it done and there is little anyone can do to help them. If you know what you are doing coldcard/seedsigner will continue to be one of the best ways to self custody. But for the majority perhaps they should be guided towards bitkey multisig with third party model instead of encouraged to go down the maximum sovereignty route.
