Is my Bitcoin wallet compromised? I hold some Bitcoin in the electrum wallet. I have written the seed phrase in a notebook but I remember getting an email 3 weeks ago that there is update on wallet to 4.8 version which fixes old bugs and better interface, etc., so I decided to change my seed phrase and threw the old one out. Can the old seed phrase still be used to decrypt the private keys and drain the bitcoin?
