Could tokenized equities become a meaningful part of crypto investing? I've always thought of crypto investing as its own category, separate from stocks and commodities. Lately, though, I've noticed more platforms experimenting with tokenized versions of traditional assets. I spent some time looking around Canborsa and saw everything from BTC and ETH to Alibaba, Nvidia, and gold available in one place. I'm still skeptical about how big this market can become, but I can see why some investors would like having exposure to multiple asset classes without managing several accounts. Part of me thinks tokenized equities could become a major narrative over the next few years. Another part thinks most investors will stick with traditional brokers for stocks and use crypto platforms strictly for crypto.
