What actually pays miners once the block reward gets small? Fees are around 1% of miner revenue right now. I got the standard answers when I started, and none of them held up when I pushed on them. Putting the working here in case someone else is stuck at the same place. First, the Ponzi thing, because it comes up in every one of these threads. A Ponzi has four features: promised high returns with little risk, a central operator, old investors paid out of new investor money, and concealed flows. Bitcoin has none of them. It's volatile with nobody promising anything, there are over 10,000 nodes and no operator, nobody is paid a return, and the entire transaction history since 2009 is public. That question is settled and I don't think it's interesting anymore.

Repurchase $STRC! Approximately $28M quota! The aircraft carrier is initiating the recovery program! Short sellers, take note! Short sellers, take note! Lay down your arms, surrender your weapons and live!

AI visual note: The image displays a table showing Strategy's preferred stock repurchase activity, where only **STRC** (Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Stretch Preferred Stock) had shares repurchased, totaling **288,930 shares** for an aggregate purchase price of **$25.0 million**, while other securities like STRF, STRK, STRD, and MSTR showed no repurchases. This relates to the post's excitement about the $STRC repurchase program, as the "$28M quota" referenced likely refers to the $25 million in repurchases shown, signaling a "recovery program" against short sellers.

"Bitcoin uses too much energy." The fiat system requires: 200 armies, 195 central banks, millions of bankers, gold vaults, armored trucks, printers, and endless wars to defend the dollar. Bitcoin needs: math. Sit down.
