STRIVE’S JEFF WALTON $ASST : SPACEX AND TESLA HOLDING BITCOIN IS A SIGNAL He says forward-looking, founder-led companies are the ones most likely to put Bitcoin on the balance sheet: - Walton says Tesla $TSLA and SpaceX $SPCX are two of the most forward-looking companies on the [Spoken audio]: Recently, SpaceX went public and had their IPO with Bitcoin and their balance sheet. Pretty significant non-DAT company doing that. Along the lines of the question I asked before that once we get this regulatory clarity, we may see more companies add Bitcoin to their balance sheet. Yeah. I think SpaceX coming to the market with Bitcoin and their balance sheet, you had two, at least as of a week ago, you had two of the top 10 companies in the United States that held Bitcoin and their balance sheet, Tesla and SpaceX. of the most forward-looking companies on the planet holding Bitcoin on the balance sheet. That's a very interesting signal. I do think that we will move into a future where more corporations are adopting Bitcoin as a capital asset, but I think where there's been success is with founder-led companies that have controlled boards effectively, where the decision-making rolls up to effectively one person that can make a decision and put Bitcoin on the balance sheet. So for example, strategy was one of those back in 2020. Michael Saylor said, if you don't like it, I will buy your stock back because I'm doing this. So that was what happened in 2020 and looking at us, we went to market with a pipe deal to do a reverse merger into a publicly traded company. We were doing this by design. But it's a bit tricky. It's a bit tricky to go convince a 60-year-old average age board to go put a 50-vol asset on your balance sheet when you don't understand it.
