The ethics provision is the last big roadblock for the CLARITY Act. Can you give a better overview of the one I made? I'm not an expert in this, so I'll leave it to you. Let's start with the sunset clause that you just referred to. So the sunset clause, I think Republicans are portraying as, oh, the president is saying, this is just gonna be about me. You wanna come after me? This is just about me. And after I'm done with my presidency, we'll leave it up to the next administration. An actual fact that allows him to do whatever he wants the day after he's out of office. Also keep in mind this ethics bill that only, it only comes into effect 360 days after the entire clarity bills passed, right? We're already at 20, halfway through 2026. Let's say this thing gets passed and signed into law sometime in the fall, there's really only a year of effective protection of this ethics clause, right? And then it's done. What happens after that? It will completely left up to, you know, interpretation for the future. We have no idea. So in actual fact, that and there's a couple of other things in here. I'm not so concerned about the fact that you're not on the family clause. you're not able to capture the adult children. I think that's very hard to legislate. Adult children are financially independent and they can do their own thing. But there's a lot in here that I understand why the Democrats are not happy with it. It's not about whether I agree or not, but I completely understand why this is not gonna pass muster. Not even in talking about the Senate Act. The state attorney generals versus the DOJ and who has authority to regulate, right? And we can talk about that in a second, but this ethics bill as written has a lot of holes. Amanda and Miller, why do you think about this view? Do you think that there's no way any Democrat would accept this or have there been any hints at all that maybe some are okay with it? No, there's not been any hint at all that any Senate Democrat is okay with it. So yeah, I think for this bill to be viable, the White House and the president and Senate Democrats have to reach some sort of mutually agreeable position on this on this issue because the Democrats have been quite clear that that is going to be necessary to earn their support for his last year.
