In 2017, talking about crypto at a major financial institution could put your career at risk. Today, the bigger risk is having no digital asset strategy at all. Having seen the shift from both sides of the table, @odagius sees regulatory clarity as the catalyst unlocking new [Spoken audio]: wear institutions more confident? Is it because now everything looks more solid? Is it because of regulation? What is driving that? So the regulation is just the spark. It allows people to open up. If you roll back, let's say one or two cycles, if you were, you mentioned my alma mater, Goldman Sachs, and they have personal experience about that. 2017, if I went into a room, which I did, by the way, and you talked to the managing director and you mentioned to him, hey, I really love crypto during the weekends. I trade Ethereum or participate in ICOs. And and then I do later on defy build farming. They'll look at you as if you're some bonehead, right? They would think you're a gambler and would probably question how you got the job at the Goldman. So it will put your career at risk pretty much. Talking about crypto and tradfying, we have lots of examples from the very top of the leadership of various banks in the US that argued they would fire people who touch crypto if they're an employee of those institutions. So that was around 2017-18. In the meantime we had kind of regulatory clarity around some aspects of crypto and as we mature it will cover the entirety of the crypto space. How do you do crypto or blockchain or digital asset adoption? In fact if you don't have a strategy you will likely be left behind because Apart from opening up a lot of revenue opportunities, there's various products, these traditional financial institutions start building with cryptorails. It's also a cost-saving one. So you can enable all sorts of different cost-saving measures by moving things on to change. So for that reason, I think the regulation is just a small piece, like it's one Lego, then we have how much revenue on top we can generate and how much cost that you can save and how much innovation you can build.
