These adjustments help Litecoin remain fast, low-cost, and suitable for peer-to-peer payments. Transactions confirm quickly. These are typically just a few cents, and the network stays secure and decentralized thanks to its Bitcoin-based architecture. Over time, Litecoin has become one of the most widely adopted cryptocurrencies. It is supported by major payment processors like PayPal and BitPay, available at cryptocurrency ATMs in dozens of countries, and consistently ranks among the most liquid digital assets on exchanges. People use it for cross-border transfers, on-chain settlements between exchanges, and everyday merchant payments.
