London shouldn’t have a monopoly on Britain’s next businesses. At our Celebration of Innovation, @SamTarry made the point plainly that you don’t need to be based in a specific location to build in this industry. On the day, builders from Cornwall to Manchester to the Midlands [Spoken audio]: I'm not someone that's in favour of just getting rid of all the regulations but it's about co-design so those regulations actually work because one of the things I said earlier is that we don't want this just to be a technology and an access to business and access to entrepreneurism that is just London and South East focus and the great thing about today's event is we've got loads of businesses that are from regions, we've got people from Cornwall, we've got people from Manchester and the sort of Northwest and we've got people from the Midlands, areas that for different reasons have been left behind economically in different periods. Actually, if you've got a fast internet connection, you can be involved in this industry. You don't need to be based like in the square mile or anything like that. And that is pretty exciting. So it could be a real leveller that the opportunity to build big businesses, to grow them from small seed businesses and expand them is really huge.
