Bitcoin is up this week while every big US stock index is down. I run a daily cross-asset regime model to check whether 'crypto is decoupling' is real. It says no, and here is why. I track a cross-asset regime model every day. It scores the backdrop from growth, liquidity, risk appetite and volatility, and ranks moves against their own history. This week threw up a clean split, so I dug into whether it means anything. Over the past week: Bitcoin +1.9%, Ethereum +2.6%, Solana +0.7%. Every major US stock index went the other way: S&P 500 -1.0%, Nasdaq 100 -2.2%, Dow -1.3%, Russell 2000 -0.4%. Two things that usually move together split. The tempting read is that crypto is decoupling, or trading like a macro hedge again. The regime model says otherwise. It still reads Neutral with no transition, the same as it has for weeks. If this were a macro event repricing all risk, the regime would be the first place it shows up, and it has not. So it looks like two separate stories landing in the same week:

I created a token and its official website on Robinhood Chain for less than $15—all without leaving the Based. From bridging assets and launching the token to building and updating its website, the entire process was completed within the Based ecosystem. In this tutorial, I [Spoken audio]: Based has launched a Creator Rewards Campaign worth approximately $50,000 for Based Alpha Creators on Robinhood Chain. The first track includes a 30,000 USDG reward pool for tokens that graduate from their bonding curves. To qualify, a token must graduate during the campaign period, have at least 20 unique holders at the moment of graduation, generate at least $300,000 and trading volume on its graduated liquidity pool and maintain a market cap of at least $500,000 for 24 hours. There is also a separate $20,000 RWA bonus track for innovative projects that incorporate Robinhood stock tokens. But do you really need a lot of money or technical knowledge to create a token and participate in an event like this? Today I'm going to show you the entire process of creating my own token on based alpha for less than $15 and then building and connecting an official website using the based AI page feature. First, visit the base website. From the main screen, you can bridge assets you already own into ETH on Robinhood Chain. In my case, I'm going to bridge approximately $10 worth of ETH from Arbitrum. Once the assets arrive, we can start creating the token. Click the Create Token button on based alpha. Here you can enter all the basic information about your token, including its name, ticker, image, description, and website. But what should you do if you haven't decided what kind of token you want to create yet? If you don't have an idea yet, one good approach is to browse X and look for interesting stories or images that could become a meme coin narrative. I'm going to check the Robinhood CEO's X account and see if I can find something worth developing into a token. Oh, this is actually pretty interesting, it isn't just a random image, there's a narrative here that we can build on. I'm going to use this post as the starting point for the tokens concept. The token name will be the lost city of gold and based on Vlad's post, I'm going to use dollar map as the ticker. Now let's download the image we'll use for the token. Now return to the create token page and upload the image we just downloaded. description field, you can write a short and clear explanation of the token's concept and story, but launching a token with only the basic information would feel a little empty, right? So let's create an official website as well. With the page feature on base.ai, you can build a website entirely from a prompt without writing any code. There's no need to hire a web developer or go through a complicated deployment process. You can prepare the token and its official website as part of the same workflow. Before using the page feature, we need to add some based AI credits. I'm going to add just $5 from my USDC balance on Hyperliquid L1. You only need to add a small amount to get started. Now I'm going to enter the prompt I prepared earlier. I included the project name, ticker, overall theme, color palette, page structure and the functionality of each button in as much detail as possible. I'll also attach the token's main image and ask based AI to use it as the primary visual reference for the website because the token hasn't been deployed yet we don't have a contract address or GMGN link for now I'll ask the website to display both of those as coming soon now let's generate the website the website is finished it has successfully built the world of the lost city of gold around the image we attached it includes the project introduction roadmap token information a contract address copy button and a button that will eventually link directly to GMGN. Since we don't have the contract address or GMGN link yet, both are currently displayed as coming soon. Let's quickly check the overall design and the mobile layout and then publish the website. Now copy the URL of the completed website, return to the create token page on based alpha and paste the URL into the website field. This allows anyone viewing the token to visit its official website directly. The next step is to choose how many dev tokens the Deployer will purchase at launch. For this project, I'm only going to take a very small amount, choose an amount that fits your project, and make sure the allocation is communicated transparently so the community can clearly understand it. We've now entered the token name, ticker, image, description, website, and dev token settings. The contract address will be created once the token has been deployed. Let's review everything one final time, make sure there are no mistakes, and deploy the token. Approve the transaction in your wallet, and the deployment should be completed shortly afterward. The token has now been successfully deployed, and as you can see people are already trading it. Buy and sell transactions are generating volume, and creator fees are starting to accumulate as well. The token is still on its bonding curve, so its GMGN status should not be displayed as live yet. The correct status is awaiting bonding. Once the token graduates from its bonding curve, trading can continue through its graduated alpha liquidity pool. Now that the token has been deployed, we have both the contract address and the GMGN page URL. However, the website still shows coming soon. Let's return to base AI page and ask it to update the website with the new information. I'll provide the contract address and request that clicking either the address or the copy button copies the full address to the clipboard. I'll also connect the view on GMGN button to the token's actual GMGN page. However, because the token has not yet graduated from the bonding curve, the GMGN status should be displayed as awaiting bonding, not live. Now let's run the update. The update is complete. The real contract address is now displayed on the website and the GMGN status has been changed to awaiting bonding. Now let's test everything and make sure it works properly. First, let's click the contract address copy button. The website displays a shortened version of the address, but clicking it correctly copies the complete contract address. Now let's click the view on GMGN button. It opens the GMGN perfect. Now I'm curious to see how many credits we use to build and update the website. Let's take a look. That's impressive, creating the website and then updating it with the contract address and GMGN link cost only around 60 cents. We were able to build a website of this quality without writing code or setting up a separate server. Of course, the actual cost may vary depending on the length of your prompt and how many revisions you make. And that's how I created my own token on Robinhood Chain and connected it to an official website built with base.ai page all for less than $15. From finding the initial idea and building the narrative to deploying the token and updating the website with the real contract address and GMGN link, the entire process could be completed in one connected workflow.
