Now in this video I'm going to take you through exactly how it works, step by step, from staking to generating your code to onboarding your friends and finally earning your USDC rewards. Step one, head over to the referral tab on meteora.ag. The first thing you'll need to do is connect and verify your wallet that allows you to unlock the full view of your staking and referral benefits. At the top you can see the live state of the program, ongoing rewards for the current cycle, total met state across the protocol, estimated APR and the countdown to the end of the cycle. Now each cycle runs exactly one month and you can claim your rewards shortly after each cycle ends. Now there's three ways to earn here and they stack. The first is staking, stake met, and you'll earn a share of 10% of DLMM protocol fees. The minimum amount to stake is 200 met. So click on stake now, enter your amount, click on stake, and you're done. You're now earning your staking rewards. Now the second way to earn is through linking a raffle code. Enter a code from your referrer. From then on, you earn 2% DLMM protocol fees from your own positions on top of what you're already earning from them. The third way is by referring others. Now this is a lot to unpack so let's take a look at the scenario. Meet Tom. Tom wants to participate in the program so he stakes 2,000 met. Now that does two things. One, he starts earning his share of the 10% staking rewards. Two, it sets his earnings cap at 200 USDC per cycle because everyone met staked adds 0.1 USDC to the cap. Tom generates his code and shares it with three buddies. They apply it then open a few sole USDC positions on the DLMM. Now over the cycle, their positions generate 1,500 USDC in protocol fees. Tom, as a referrer, earns 8% of that, 120 USDC comfortably under his stake earnings cap. His three friends who are referees, assuming each of them LPD equally, they will share the 2% of the fees earned. Everybody benefits from the same activity. And if Tom's referrals go so much that it hits his cap, he simply stakes more Met to unlock this full reward. And that's it, your Met is growing, your referrals are earning, and every new LP you onboard strengthens the whole Meteora ecosystem. Turn BIP39 seed phrases into color palettes by mapping each word to a hex color I’ve been thinking about a fun (and potentially useful) way to visualize BIP39 seed phrases. The Idea: Assign a unique hex color to each of the 2048 BIP39 words. Your 12- or 24-word mnemonic then becomes a color palette that you can instantly recognize. Example: witch collapse practice feed shame open despair creek road again ice least → becomes a palette like: #8B4513 #4B0082 #00FF7F ... You could: • Display it as a beautiful grid or horizontal strip • Use it as a quick visual checksum (your eyes can spot if a color is wrong) • Generate NFT-style art or wallpapers from your seed (without revealing the actual words) • Add it to hardware wallet interfaces or recovery tools for better UX Why it could be cool: • Human brains are great at remembering colors and patterns • Adds a visual layer to something that’s usually just text • Makes seed phrases slightly more “human” while keeping them secure (colors are derived, not stored) • Great for educational tools or open-source wallets
