Compliant privacy is foundational to institutional blockchain adoption. In his interview with @sandmark_news , @mssteuer explains how Casper is working toward privacy that protects sensitive activity while preserving the access institutions need for oversight and compliance. [Spoken audio]: So, I think that particularly for institutions, privacy is a very big topic. It's always been a topic for individuals, but not always for the right reasons. And that's where I think the regulatory friction lies, right? Because there have been privacy chains that have had a lot of friction with regulators. As a result, they've been shunned from exchanges and because they obviously enable the hiding of information that shouldn't be hidden from particular state actors or regulators or tax authorities or whatever it may be, right? As an institution, you don't want your transactions viewable on a public blockchain to your competitors. But at the same time, you do need to give access to your auditors and to the government than whatever the case may be. So complying to privacy, I think, is something that we're going to see more and more of. It's part of our manifest roadmap with things like voluntary disclosures and proof of innocence and things like that to give institutions the power to keep things that should be private-private while complying with rules and regulations.
