I hesitated for a long time before writing this, but here is my story. I really got into crypto in 2023. Started with maybe $100. At the end of August, I launched my first project. Had issues with my co-founder, who was also the developer. So I decided to learn how to code

Some people want to hold their own keys. Some would rather institutions carry that weight. Flagship is built for the first group, Multi-Institution Custody for the second, and both run on the same Trident platform. Pick whichever custody model better fits your life.

The biggest Bitcoin fight since 2017 lands in August. Miners are holding out, watching each other. First pool to break ranks: the rest cascade behind it. What forces the first move? Nodes run by regular people. Show up and your vote actually counts. [Spoken audio]: And a tiny chunk of the mining right now is signaling Bip110, a very tiny chunk, which is mostly a mining group called Ocean, which is aligned with the people bringing forth Bip110 in the first place. But among the rest of the miners, there's no signaling. And the question is, will they signal come August when it's mandatory for them to signal or some group of the nodes will reject their blocks? And the game theory here is, if all of them hold the line and don't signal and ignore Bip110 like it's nothing, then Bip110 will fail. But if one of them can't tolerate the risk that their blocks will be thrown out because enough Bip110 nodes will reject those blocks, then the Game 3 rapidly cascades in favor of Bip110 because you'd rather be the mining pool that moved first and eliminated any risk of getting wiped out by other mining pools moving over and starting to mine on the Bip110 chain. The way it works in Bitcoin mining and the way that consensus emerges is miners choose to mine which chain that they mine on, which set of rules that they follow, and nodes are the ones that determine which chain has the most consensus, which chain becomes the longest, and from there, if there's enough nodes, again, signaling economic weight, signaling that they care about this and that they will invalidate miners' blocks if they don't follow the rules, then the game theory rapidly cascades in favor of BIP110.
