Hosted miner question I live in the Channel Islands where electricity is so damned expensive that it would make your eyes water if I quoted the kWh rates. I’ve been holding and using BTC at a fairly basic level for some years now and would like to look at mining, partly to help secure the network and partly for BTC income. I accept that it’s a “sometimes you win, sometimes you lose” thing. However, hosting my own and running it is basically out of the question. So I was looking at hosted/ “cloud” mining services. Not perfect, but could get the job done. “Good enough“. I looked at Gomining and ECOS. Gomining is a little… opaque, but ECOS seems quite clear about what you get for your money.
