I haven't carried cash in my wallet since discovering Yodl Pay nearly 5 months ago. Crazy to think that I've been able to live on stablecoins in Vietnam by using 100% QR payments with no issues. [Spoken audio]: I wish someone told me this before I moved to Vietnam. The biggest travel hack here isn't where to go, it's how you pay. Cash is still very useful here, but when I'm hiking, spending the day at the beach or just out exploring, I really don't wanna carry it. And if I don't have cash, I don't wanna spend my afternoon looking for an ATM either. And sometimes my international card comes with an extra 3-5% fee. One thing you'll notice pretty quickly is that the local QR payments are everywhere. The cash is, you normally need a Vietnamese bank account to use them. I've been using Yodel instead so I can scan the same QR code and pay with crypto. I've used it at cafes, shops, package deliveries and even little roadside stops like this. Yodel also works in the Philippines, Brazil and Argentina. Now I usually just grab my phone and head out.
