The money system is totally co-opted by ruling classes of elites that don't care about people. Fiat money can be printed instantly in unlimited amounts. And any two bills are the same piece of paper. Why is one valued at 20 times or 100 times? The other is because the government says it is. The level of money that's being printed since 2008, historians will probably say that was a cataclysmic event. Up until this point, billions of people haven't had access to good money. We've seen governments countless times use financial tools to restrict people, and Bitcoin solves all these things. And so my approach in Costa Rica is like using Bitcoin actually increases the sovereignty of Costa Rica as a whole.
