A $10 Billion AUM bank is tokenizing accounts on Midnight. $NIGHT [Spoken audio]: Monument Bank are a challenger bank, a neobank, based in the UK. They have a UK banking license regulated by the Bank of England and the PRA. One of the fastest growing neobanks in the UK currently managed $10 billion of assets for or deposits for what they call mass affluent clients. Clients who are too big for the retail bank and not, sorry, retail high street banks that are not being serviced well, but too small maybe for the rather large, wealthy, private world management banks. So servicing that client, they recognize that they can give access to those clients through traditional rails, but also they recognize tokenization allows access to fractionalize private equity hedge funds, other channels and DeFi yields as well. So they have chosen to work with Midnight where they will initially tokenize 250 million sterling. So for our American friends out there about 300 million dollars worth of deposits, they will tokenize those on Midnight. They will do so in a private way on our permissions network. So Monument Bank gets to decide who sees it and who has access. That's phase one. Phase two is we're working with RWA counterparts to bring in tokenized assets, assets that might be generating yield or provide access that is otherwise unavailable to these Monument Bank clients. And so those Monument Bank clients in this private space within midnight can switch their deposits for these yield bearing assets. And then phase three of that journey is that you take those assets, and then you privately use them for Lombard lending. Lombard lending to the uninitiated is basically saying, you have a pool of assets, a pool of collateral, and you're gonna use that to get borrowing, to go and invest in other things. Today, for the most people, the only piece of collateral they think of is their house. They go and get a mortgage in their house, house is collateral against that borrowing, they buy the house. But your assets, your physical assets, or your digital assets can be used for borrowing as well. So midnight we think that's part of the third phase with Monument is to open up so they can bear a borrowing better access to lending facilities using those private crypto assets to then go and invest and generate better yields, better.
