He got everything right except @bgarlinghouse name. I know these Bitcoin Maxis are having a rough time finally coming around to understanding the adults have been right so I'll give him a pass here. Lock In! [Spoken audio]: Bread, garlic house, just said something that sounds kind of bearish about XRP, but is actually the most bullish thing possible if you understand what he's really saying. See Ripple processed $16 trillion in transactions last year. That's a pretty big profit number, okay? Zero percent of those transactions used a digital asset. Read that again. $16 trillion flowing through the infrastructure that has not yet switched on the crypto rails underneath it. That's not a failure. That's an opportunity. And that's not Lark saying it. The garlic house himself said this, okay? he is explicitly saying that the real play is bringing the next 16 trillion dollars on to blockchain infrastructure enabling settlement with XRP. The network's already built, it's already got the partnerships, the volume's already there. The digital asset layer simply has not been turned on in meaningful way yet. When institutions settle trillions of dollars in transactions, the difference between doing it the old way and doing it with XRP is speed, cost, and finality. The old way loses on all three. 16 trillion dollars potential volume with the digital asset switch not yet flipped on in meaningful way. That is the XRP thesis in just one sentence.
