REMINDER: US HOUSE CRYPTO HEARING TODAY
Have a lovely afternoon, everyone. @wallchain transforms attention into value by empowering creators, rewarding authentic communities and shaping decentralized growth
The next crypto cycle may not be about thousands of tokens competing for attention โ it could be about a handful of projects powering the future of global finance. #Crypto #CLARITYAct #Bitcoin #XRP #Blockchain [Spoken audio]: One thing you should know that's coming to the crypto space is this, after the clarity act passes, 90% of crypto is going away. Shall we begin? Are you really ready for this conversation? And a lot of them are going away not because they're scams, but because they're not going to be able to measure up to the new standard laid out in the bill. I mean we've seen for over a decade the biggest cop in the United States go after some of these projects and then ask questions later. So to clear the act when it gets ushered in it's going to clear all of that up. But it's important to understand what projects you have in your portfolio and how they're going to be classified after this bill passes. So there are going to be three main buckets that I'm a go-through and your project is going to fit into one of these after clarity becomes long. I'm going to read off the screen. The first bucket is the digital commodity bucket and to qualify your project has to prove that it's totally decentralized. Your token has to have real utility and there cannot be a central team controlling it and if you meet those classifications the government is going to treat it like gold or oil allowing for allowing it to be freely traded on any major US exchange and institutions can buy it without any legal risk. You want projects in your portfolio to be in this first category and on March 17th 16 assets were named and I'm going to read these off the screen real quick. Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, XLM, Hbar, Solana, ADA, Avax, Link, Dot, Doge, Litecoin, BCH, SHIB, APT, and XTZ. So those are the 16 that are in the green lane so to speak currently. This next bucket is the harder bucket and it's called the SEC bucket okay. So you launch the token sale investors bought in expecting profits from what your team builds and that is the legal definition of a security full SEC compliance it's going to be needed. Disclosures, registration, investor, restrictions, ongoing reporting, and this can cost projects millions of dollars. Okay, so this alone is going to wipe out the majority of crypto projects. Okay, so if your project, if you have a project in your portfolio that isn't quite decentralized there is a great possibility they're going to fall into this bucket and in the third bucket is really going to be dealing with stablecoins okay these are dollar-packed tokens issued by license institutions they're not a security not a commodity but they're regulated like digital cash under the genius act which was already passed so in closing the clarity act is in killing crypto but it is going to force every project to identify who they are and when this passes I would do it right now I would take a serious look at my portfolio now and make sure that I I understand where my projects are going to fall. What bucket are they going to fall into? Because things are gonna drastically change once this law goes into effect. Love and respect. And I look forward to seeing you in the next video.

$SNEK is inevitable.
as long as bitcoin exists, i'll keep believing in ordinals.
The real opportunity is connecting onchain transparency with an industry that has historically been difficult to access.
If you as a DRep voted NO on Blockfrost, please watch the video from Charles to understand the importance of Blockfrost for the Cardano ecosystem. Big exchanges like Coinbase and Kraken depend on this service. I am well aware of the importance, I regularly use Blockfrost
