AI doesn’t need another isolated model. It needs a network where intelligence can compound. @kenzixbt in conversation with @nickemmons , Co-Founder of @AlloraNetwork , on breaking AI out of silos, turning fragmented models into collective intelligence, and building the [Spoken audio]: So, let's switch gears a little bit and talk about Alora. What motivated you to co-found Alora and also, you know, building the network? Yeah, I think with Alora we're trying to solve this really fundamental problem in AI today that we call siloed machine intelligence. I think there's lots of different models that exist in the world. There's lots of different instances of AI, but today they all live in these different silos. can't take Claude 3.5 and GPT-40 and merge them together and create a new model that is the sort of sum of intelligences of those underlying models. And I think this is why AI today is so controlled by a small number of monoliths. They have access to the most raw resources and data and compute. And so they'll continuously creating the best models because even though there exist hundreds of thousands of models on hugging face alone today, they can't easily be stitched together and learn off of one another and create this more performance and accelerated form of collective intelligence. And so what we're doing with Allure is basically building coordination mechanisms to break down these barriers that exist between models today and create this collective intelligence network essentially. That improves itself over time. And the way the network is constructed enables the network to, I guess, admit this aggregate inference or this aggregate form of AI that's consistently more intelligent than any of the underlying models that are contributing to that form of collective intelligence. And with that, you sort of create this abstraction layer for intelligence, this aggregation layer for intelligence that I think is an important piece of both democratizing the creation of new types of AI as well as significantly accelerating it's sort of rate of progress or rate of innovation.
