Building high-performance financial applications on-chain is incredibly challenging. It requires: + Deep liquidity management + Constant, expensive security audits + Complex on-chain infrastructure (order books, transaction ordering) That's why Aptos is building a fully [Spoken audio]: But we started building a fully decentralized exchange that could compete with the latency of a central exchange, but on fully decentralized rails. This is something only Aptos as a blockchain can really support because of our underpinning technology. The idea there is, one, it's quite costly to build these kind of financial applications. one, in terms of centralizing the liquidity, two, doing all of the security audits that are quite necessary to ensure that people's money is safe, three, building the on-chain infrastructure to allow every single aspect from, you know, the order book, how transactions are ordered to all fit the need of what an exchange demands, and continuing to maintain that and having a blockchain that is able to do so. So that's one area we've basically from a business perspective put a flag in the ground and said we should build this ourselves and we want to build it in a unique way.

Why did we choose to anchor our treasury in the RAIN token above every other crypto? There are two main reasons. @Rain__Protocol burns 2.5% of total trading volume by buying tokens and removing them from market. Supply contracts as volume grows. We also hold an exclusive [Spoken audio]: We had several main reasons to decide to focus on on rain and prediction markets. One of them is the flashery mechanism of this protocol, which means that there is a mechanism by which as volume increases, there is 5% of that total volume is used in 2.5% out of which is used to buy back the tokens and burn them, which means that we're talking about a deflationary model that will obviously be appreciated in the token price and definitely for analytics, which is currently the large corporate holder of the token. On top of that, the second main, well, additional main reason that we did that transaction was that we've acquired a very exclusive option to buy up to $900 million of the reigned token and a fixed price, which is essentially something like 80% of the product that took it today, which expired by the end of 2027. So you can already appreciate that we have here a dual engine architecture that is very, very unique, allowing our shareholders exposure to the prediction markets on the same time allowing us to continue to develop our breakthrough therapies into late stage and potentially commercial stage.
