My review on @RadarChat app after using it for a week! [Spoken audio]: Fine. What? It wasn't recording. Okay. So I've hosted enough Bitcoin events to know that onboarding into Bitcoin is still extremely fragmented. But just last week, a very new and interesting Bitcoin chat app was launched. And it's called Radar. Here's what I think about. So I kind of found out about Radar because of Bitmela. Because the cake wallet team is sponsoring Bitmela and that's when I started following them. them and I found out that there's a new Bitcoin chat app coming into the picture. So it was very interesting for me. Now if you know me a little bit, you know that whenever I look at a new Bitcoin product, the first thing that comes to my mind is how can I use it during my Bitcoin her luncheon? How does this app, this particular app makes my life easy during those luncheons? Turns out it solves a great deal of my problem. What is that? Imagine this, every woman on the the T-BILD, simply just downloads Redar chat, create their own self-custodial lightning wallet and we can exchange stats and talk without having to switch between WhatsApp and a lightning wallet. So, is this the first time you're receiving Bitcoin on lightning? Yes. Yes. So, I'm going to say exciting. Another thing that I really like about Redar app is that it's built on signal and you know privacy is not really about just interpreted message. also about not having to give your phone number to a bunch of people after an event and honestly I've struggled with this for the longest time. So it's still achieving its perfection because the minute I logged on to radar app I got logged out of my signal. It's understandable because it's single client. But the important thing is that my chats were not migrated. So I'd love to see the chats migrating seamlessly as well to the radar app and so that like I don't have to go back to signal. It's interesting to see that we are starting to see see so many new innovations around Bitcoin communication because Club Orange is trying to create one of its kind of social experience where he is trying to build around federations and communities. And now we have radar, which is incredibly focused. It's trying to do one thing really well, which is private messaging with self custodial Bitcoin wallet. So if you're a bit coiner already, I definitely recommend you to go try out read our chat app and also let me know how you feel about it because I mean let's admit it future of bitcoin is not about better wallets it's about better user experience and bitcoin doesn't have an adoption issue it has a user experience issue. So I'm going to rate a radar chat at a good 4 out of 5 stars but this is based on the current developments let's see how the rest of the things, you know, develop in the coming few days.
