Sequoia's RIP Good [Spoken audio]: Basically the premise of billion dollar PDF is every like 10 years or so. There's a decade or era defining Tech paper essentially that creates billions if not trillions of dollars of value and The second premise of this is that whenever there's technological change happening in the world world. Everyone is at peak fear and panic and in a weird spot and they don't really like know what to do or what to think. And somebody has to come through and crystallize the message. Somebody has to come through, write the paper, crystallize the message and give people a premise as to which they can like think off of. They need a foundation to think off of. I've read about this Bitcoin white paper 2008 Satoshi Nakamoto classic Why software is eating the world Mark Andres in 2011? Think about that. There's like, there's one every like five years or so. The internet title wave, Bill Gates, 1995. Never read it. Rest in peace, good times. The 2008 crash is structural, not cyclical, cut burn, extend runway, get to cash flow. Sequoia Capital, 2008. Insane, Warren Buffett is in here. The super investors of Graham and Doddsville, 1984. The concentrated success of value investors from the shared intellectual village, da-da-da-da.
