Marcus discusses what he is looking for in a bottom for BTC. β€œWhat the chart needs here for this to be healthy is a consolidation of price so that the EMAs can actually get closer to each other and eventually put in a cross.” [Spoken audio]: If this is the low, I personally am not very confident that this would be the major bottom, but there are signs of a potential bottoming in this area. So something I like to look at is the weekly 9 and 21 EMAs you can see from the purple and the orange line here. A very good sign of a trend reversal is waiting for these two EMAs to converge and then finally putting in something I call a cross, like a green arrow, a green cross here. So this occurs when the EMAs flip. This is a sign of a trend forming. And you know, what we can see here is that the EMAs are still very far apart. And what the chart needs here for this to be healthy is a consolidation of price so that the EMAs can actually get closer to each other and eventually put in the cross. As of now, my indicator doesn't even have an ETA because the EMAs are still pretty diverged meaning price can still chop around here for a bit or even go lower but as long as we stay within this general range and we let the EMAs reset there's a chance for the the cross to happen and then that would be the trend reversal that I'm looking for.
