WATCH: BINANCE US CEO SAYS EXCHANGE IS REBUILDING AND EYES A RETURN TO 20% MARKET SHARE Stephen Gregory says the exchange held 20% of the market before spending two years in "hibernation" and is now returning to growth. He adds binance us will be cutting fees to "0% maker [Spoken audio]: And then we sort of were in hibernation for about two years and now we're sort of coming back into our growth cycle So at one point we were about 20% of the market share in the US and we're gonna get back to that level So right now we've done is try to be super customer centric So we cut our fees down to basically zero percent maker and two bit takers So it's essentially almost a no fee exchange and then what we're doing is trying to build a liquidity back slowly But surely we're doing a lot of incentives to get that back and sort of bring our retail traders back So a lot of outreach, you know, personally email a lot of our top retail customers to try and get them back See what they want. You know what they want on the platform. We're also expanding regulatory wise So we're gonna offer a bunch of new products We're sort of in a golden age year of regulation I think like a lot of federal agencies are expanding their jurisdiction like the Quantity to Trading Commission the OCC So we're gonna get all these licenses now to offer a much more complete suite of crypto products and bring it back here to the US
