[Everyone wants a higher hit rate, few ppl build the habit of taking the L early] From @blknoiz06 : βThe best personality trait for a trader is being comfortable with being wrong and being humble.β Thatβs where the edge comes from. Strong R:R > high win rate. Small losses keep [Spoken audio]: The best personality trait for a trader, I would say, is the comfortability with being wrong and being humble. So if you're able to control your emotions when the market is up or the market is down and to make sound decisions in every different scenario, you're a way ahead of the average person. And I would say, I'd say being okay with being wrong because in trading, you're not going to win every single trade. But if you have good risk, good reward, you only really have to win half of them or even less than half of them if you're really good at maximizing your wins to make money. So you could be wrong more than you're right. And for some people that like fucks with their mental, it's really not not easier for people to be wrong on a consistent basis, which can happen in trading. But if you're okay with being wrong, like, oh, this idea was not wrong, but I'm just I'm just gonna keep hammering at it, keep going. Keep seeing like what's gonna work, what doesn't work. Then you're in a much better scenario than people who have no, like, aren't able to be wrong. And people who aren't able to be wrong are also the ones who will get stuck in trades and just hold them down to whatever percent. Y'all say being humble and comfortable being wrong are probably the two biggest things.
