Pomp is trying to podcast his way out of paper bitcoin winter [Spoken audio]: Most people don't know this, but I'm the CEO of a publicly traded company, which sounds pretty cool, right? Well, there's only one big problem. The stock is down 90% from its all-time high, and that ain't good. Everyone I know is betting against us. They do not think that I can turn this thing around, but I'm going to prove them all wrong. I'm about to do the impossible comeback. And the entire point of these videos is that I'm going to document it all. The wins, the losses, the trials and tribulations. Every single thing that I can be transparent about, I'm going to. I'm going to put it all out there, and I'm going to work my ass off to turn this thing around. So over the last couple of years, I made one major mistake. I started listening to a bunch of bureaucratic executives and consultants. A bunch of people were chirping in my ear, telling me who to hire, what to work on, what to wear. It was all nonsense. I shouldn't listen to any of these people. I only know how to build businesses one way, my way, and that's what I'm going to get back to doing. Because when I lose, I need to be able to go to my grave knowing that I bet on myself. My entire career, I've done things a very specific way. It's gotten me to this point. And so rather than listen to a bunch of other people tell me what they think I should do. doing what I think I should do. And my guess is that I'm gonna pull off this comeback and I'm gonna turn this company around. Now you may be wondering what does this company do and how am I gonna fix it? Let me go show you. I'm gonna explain to you in under two minutes exactly what this business is. The company's called ProCap Financial. It trades on the NASDAQ under the ticker BRR. The biggest thing that we're doing is we're solving a problem for independent investors. There are millions of digital native wealthy individuals who are not being served by the large financial institutions. What is an independent investor? These are people who think independently. They get all of their information on the internet. They go on YouTube, Twitter, and podcasts. They don't care about the mainstream media. The second thing is they act independently. They don't trust financial advisors or RIAs. They simply want to control their own money and dictate it in the market themselves. And lastly, these people are chasing financial independence. They've been convinced that their W-2 is not gonna get them any sort of financial security so they gotta use their investment account to do it. Now the way that we're serving independent investors, we've built Sylvia. Sylvia is an AICFO. it allows you to come in, attach your financial accounts, and begin talking to state-of-the-art AI with all of the context of your personal finances. Once people start using Sylvia, that gives us direct distribution to these individuals, it also allows us to sell consumer subscriptions and sell financial services to these people to help solve their problems. Now, how's it going so far? Well, we have $50 billion of assets on the Sylvia platform, which means we have a lot of really wealthy, very engaged individual investors. On top of that, the average person connects $2.5 million in assets and they're asking on average 15 questions per week. That's pretty good when you got a lot of very wealthy, very engaged, independent investors. Now, if we go and we look at the business itself, what we can see is that it's trading at a $140 million market cap. That sounds good, but we have over 5,000 Bitcoins sitting on its balance sheet, and that means that there's $340 million sitting on the balance sheet, but the company's only trading at a $140 million market cap. That means we're trading for less than the Bitcoin. We have $100 million or so of debt, which means that we have $241 million plus $14 million of cash. Total liquid assets of the business right now is approximately $255 million. And so we have $255 million of liquid assets, but $140 million market cap, that means we're trading for less than our assets. So my mission is to turn this thing around. It ain't gonna be easy. The bankers and lawyers don't even happy that I'm making this video because I wanna be the first public company CEO to give you a peek behind the curtain of what it's like building a public company and turning something from $140 million market cap into something way bigger.
